The dose of Ferric Chloride has to be optimized before use i.e. need to analyze the raw water before deciding dose.

Best solution is to setup simple jar test to optimize dose of Ferric Chloride. A jar test is a laboratory procedure that simulates coagulation / flocculation with differing chemical doses. The purpose of the procedure is to estimate the minimum coagulant dose required to achieve certain water quality goals.

Ferric Chloride KC100 and KC40 have an expiry of 2 years from date of manufacture.
